The terms of sale are valid when you buy through the online store, www.INITI.se. In the case of purchases in our showroom, different conditions apply.
General terms and Conditions
To purchase a product in the INITI online store, you must be 18 years of age or older.
Purchase agreements will be made when you receive an order confirmation by e-mail after you have placed an order and paid a deposit.
We reserve the right to correct any erroneous information regarding price and delivery time in retrospect.
We reserve the possibility of “typographical errors” in product information and catalogues, and that product images do not always accurately reflect the actual appearance of the products.
We reserve the right to invoke Force majeure in situations where this is applicable.
Prices include VAT by 25 percent. We reserve the right to adjust prices in relation to changes in currency, taxes, fees or the like. These price adjustments are regulated immediately as we deem it justified. We also reserve for any erroneous prices due to, for example, “typographical errors”.
Order can be made today on our website or that you come in to our showroom and we will help you.
Order on the website
On the INITI website you can choose the desired products, any options, enter contact details and indicate when and where you want the product to be delivered.
After completing the order, you will receive an e-mail “Thank you for your order” which confirms your order.
To complete your order, a deposit of 25% of the total value is required, which we will inform you and bill you for.
Once we have received your deposit, we will send you an order confirmation.
Expressions of Interest
You may, at any time, report your interest in a particular product (s) on our website and we will contact you for further information.
Delivery within Sweden
The items are delivered within Sweden with our own cars or the appropriate shipping company directly to your home. If you have selected the option “Shipping within Sweden”, the item will be delivered to the front door, provided that the truck can get there. The delivery will be notified by phone to one of the phone numbers you have specified.
Carrying, assembly, removal of packaging and removal of packaging are not normally included.
When your goods are ready for delivery to you, the Logistics department will contact you, book a time, and deliver to you by appointment.

Delivery and delivery cost outside Sweden
For deliveries outside Sweden, INITI helps with booking the appropriate shipping company. Modes of delivery, conditions, delivery time and cost may vary depending on the country and type of goods. If you enter a shipping address in another country outside Sweden, INITI is responsible for the delivery cost up to the Swedish border. The customer will then be responsible for the shipping cost, any customs fees and administration fees. In some countries, the buyer is also obliged to pay domestic VAT for the goods. Contact us for more information about modes of delivery.
Failed delivery attempt fee or unpicked shipment
All shipments are announced by telephone and/or by e-mail from INITI and are notified via SMS, letter, telephone or e-mail from the shipping company. For all shipments (except letters), e-mail notification information is appended to allow tracking of the shipment. If you have not received a notification from the shipping company within one week of receiving the delivery confirmation via e-mail, please contact us to avoid returning the shipment.
In cases where items are returned to INITI by the freight company because the requester/receiver 1) has not been available on the specified telephone number for notification; 2) refused to accept the delivery; 3) Incorrect name, address or contact details or 4) did not redeem for the sight part then from the pickup point, INITI will charge the client a fee. For letters and parcels the fee amounts to SEK 500 incl. VAT and for pallet/larger package to SEK 5.000 incl. VAT. The fee is charged to cover INITIs cost of return shipping and return administration and will be debited by invoice after the return has arrived at INITI.
In cases where the carrier or INITI has agreed with the consignee about the day and time of delivery but is not present at the time of delivery, an additional fee for a new delivery attempt may apply.
The delivery time is stated on the respective product page. All delivery times are approximate and relate to the period from the time we received a deposit until the shipment is sent from our warehouse.
We will notify you of the delivery week as soon as your order is with the current manufacturer confirmed from our production. Note that in some cases this may take up to two weeks. Of course you are entitled to cancel your order, or use your right of withdrawal, when you are notified of the specified delivery week.
If you order several items with different long delivery times at the same time, all goods are sent in a single shipment when all the goods arrived at our warehouse. If you require partial delivery – Leave a message when you place your order or contact us. To countries other than Sweden, an additional fee may apply if you require partial delivery.
If the delivery time is longer than stated in your order confirmation, we will notify you as soon as possible after the delay has come to us. We reserve the right to disclaim any claims to customers regarding delivery delays.
After the order has been received, you will receive an invoice for the deposit of 25% of the total value. When the payment is received, we start the production of your furniture.
We only offer invoice payment.
In connection with your order, you will be given a credit report on your personal or corporate identity number. Delivery is only made to the registered address, such as the registered address and you pay the remaining order amount when you receive your goods. The invoice will be sent from INITI on the day you receive delivery confirmation from us. Payment terms are 20 days net. In case of late payment, default interest will be charged 2% per month from the due date. In case of a reminder, the statutory reminder fee of SEK 60 will be charged. When ordering by invoice, the customer must be at least 18 years old. Housing Associations and Associations cannot act on invoice. We offer payment for 20 days invoice.
Right of withdrawal
You normally have 14 days right of withdrawal of items you have purchased in the online store, in accordance with the Distance and Home Sales Act. This means that you have the right to return an item if, within 14 days of receiving it, you notify us that you wish to use the right of withdrawal.
You will get the full purchase price back, but the delivery cost for the return is yours. The returned goods must be in as good condition as when you received it, and should be returned with their original. Please provide your name and order number or a copy of your invoice, as well as details of how to refund.
Refunds are normally carried out within 1-5 working days, but no later than within 30 days, after we have received and approved the return.
When purchasing a product that is specially made or otherwise adapted for you, the right of withdrawal does not apply.
Please note that the right of withdrawal does not apply to corporate customers.
Change of products
Provided that the product is unused, in full original packaging and intact, you have the right to change your product. When you change the product, you are responsible for the return cost. The right of Exchange does not apply if the product is specially designed or otherwise tailored to you. Contact us always before a return, you wish to exchange your goods for another, this will be a new purchase as well as a return.
Complaint of Goods
According to the consumer law, you always have 3 years guarantee. A complaint means that you will inform us about this within a reasonable period of time when you have discovered a fault with the article. We always check all goods for any errors before we deliver them to you. If, in the unlikely event, there is something wrong with your product, please contact our complaint department before returning the product to us. Note that when you return a product, do not paste labels or stamps directly onto packaging. Pack your return with an outer around the product original. When we receive a valid complaint requirement, we will contact you to correct the defect or to send you any return codes/return bill. When returning a complied product, we are obviously responsible for the return cost.
Important: Be sure to check the goods for any damage when you receive the delivery. In order for goods with visible, external transport damage to be able to claim us, the damage must have been recorded on the carrier’s consignment note in connection with the receipt. If you would detect hidden defects/transportation damage after you opened the packaging/packaging-please contact our complaint department immediately.

We have no general guarantee for the goods we sell. However, we leave a 5-year warranty on all parts for any production defects.

We take responsibility for all personal information, such as name, address and email, that you provide to us or that we receive when you shop with us. All such information is used only within the company’s computer system and is handled in accordance with the Swedish Personal Data Act (PUL). The information will be used in order to be able to fulfill our commitments to you and to provide you with good service. This may include delivering the goods you ordered, notifying the order status, or providing you with information about news, promotions and offers.
